Course overview

6 Months Training in Ludhiana

Our deepest classroom track: six months covering a full technology stack, a chosen specialisation, two projects, portfolio documentation and structured interview preparation at the Ludhiana centre.

The difference between four months and six is not extra syllabus. It is room to build something, find out what you got wrong, and rebuild it properly — which is the part that actually turns a syllabus into a skill.

You build two projects: the first by following, the second by deciding. In month five you choose a specialisation with your trainer, based on where you performed strongest and which roles you want to target. The final month is the second project plus resume, LinkedIn, mock interviews and placement assistance.

  • Two months of live project work on a real brief
  • Internship letter with an experience line, not just attendance
  • Placement support that continues after the course ends

Curriculum

A path from first steps to shipped work

6 modules and 30 topics across 6 months, in the order they are taught. Each one closes with something that works before the next one opens.

6 learning modules01 / 06
Module 01 · Month 1

Foundations

Language, tooling, data structures and version control, taught to the point where writing code stops being the hard part of the problem.

Topics covered

  • Core language
  • Data structures
  • Algorithms basics
  • Git workflow
  • Debugging

Tools & libraries

  • Git
  • GitHub
  • VS Code

You finish with

Topics covered

  • OOP & design
  • Unit testing
  • SQL & schema design
  • REST APIs
  • Auth

Tools & libraries

  • MySQL
  • Postman
  • Test runner

You finish with

Module 03 · Month 3

Framework & front end

The framework your track runs on, plus the interface layer, plus the part most courses skip: making it usable on a phone and fast on a slow connection.

Topics covered

  • Framework architecture
  • Component design
  • Forms & validation
  • Responsive UI
  • Performance

Tools & libraries

  • Django / React / Spring
  • CSS
  • Lighthouse

You finish with

A complete application, front to back, that holds up on a mobile connection.

Module 04 · Month 4

A real brief with real constraints, run like a delivery team: sprint planning, standups, tickets, pull requests and reviews from someone who will reject them.

Topics covered

  • Sprint planning
  • Ticket estimation
  • Pull requests
  • Peer review
  • Refactoring

Tools & libraries

  • Jira-style board
  • Git branches
  • CI

You finish with

Deployment, environments, logging, monitoring and the handover documentation. The project goes live and then has to keep working, which is a different skill.

Topics covered

  • Deployment
  • Environments & secrets
  • Logging
  • Monitoring
  • Handover docs

Tools & libraries

  • Cloud host
  • Docker
  • CI/CD

Topics covered

  • Resume & portfolio
  • DSA practice
  • System design basics
  • Mock interviews
  • Salary negotiation

Tools & libraries

  • LinkedIn
  • GitHub
  • Portfolio site

You finish with

Interview-ready, with a shipped product to talk about instead of a syllabus.

Month by month

How the six months are divided

Six monthly modules. The module list depends on the stack you choose, and the full syllabus is shared before you enrol.

  1. Module 1 — Fundamentals and environment (Month 1)

Core concepts of the stack, taught from zero, with a full development environment set up and used independently. Daily practice continues until you can work in the toolset without help.

  2. Module 2 — Core modules (Month 2)

The essential working components of the technology, with daily builds and concepts locked in through repetition. Submitted work is reviewed regularly and corrections are explained rather than just marked.

  3. Module 3 — Advanced modules (Month 3)

Advanced features of the stack, built as full features without step-by-step instruction. Debugging, structure and code or design decisions you can justify are the point of this month.

  4. Module 4 — Project one (Month 4)

Your first complete project, built end to end, through a review, correction and resubmission cycle. Documentation covers what you built and why you built it that way.

  5. Module 5 — Specialisation (Month 5)

One chosen area of the stack taken to real depth, selected with your trainer based on performance and target roles. Advanced practice work happens in that area only.

  6. Module 6 — Project two and career preparation (Month 6)

A second project, decided and structured by you, with portfolio, case studies and your specific contribution recorded. Resume, LinkedIn profile, mock interviews and technical question practice run alongside it.

The full programme runs 6 months. Where you finish is a question of pace rather than of syllabus — everyone covers all of it.

The case for it

Your months should build more than a certificate.

A course is worth the time you give it only if you finish with work you can show and skills you can defend. That is the standard this programme is designed against.

12+Practical learning areasfrom fundamentals to delivery
  • You learn industrial training the way it is used in production, with the workflow, tooling and standards a working team expects. Nothing in the syllabus exists only to fill hours.

  • Sessions are hands-on. You do every example, break it, and fix it. Each module closes with a lab task that has to work before you move on.

  • Four, including a client build finished projects — the kind of work an interviewer can open, click through and question you on.

  • A structured final phase: portfolio review, profile cleanup, aptitude and role-specific practice, mock interviews and placement support.

Why this course

Why should you choose this course?

Six things we hold ourselves to for every 6 Months Training batch that starts in Ludhiana.

  • 01

    The second project

Almost every first project is built by following. The second is built by deciding, and that is the one discussed in interviews.

  • 02

    Repetition, not more topics

The difference between four months and six is not extra syllabus. It is room to build, find out what you got wrong, and rebuild properly.

  • 03

    A specialisation you can name

You leave able to demonstrate and defend one area, rather than listing seven technologies you touched once.

  • 04

    Interview preparation measured in weeks

Mock interview rounds, technical question practice and feedback, instead of a rushed final fortnight.

  • 05

    A portfolio, not a certificate

Two projects with case studies and your specific contribution recorded, plus a resume and LinkedIn profile built around actual work.

  • 06

    Local relevance

Ludhiana’s hiring is not only software companies, and month five can be aimed at the industry you are actually going into.

Eligibility

Six kinds of students who take the 6 month track

Nobody on this list needs prior knowledge of the stack they choose.

  • Final year students with a training or project semester

Your degree includes a six-month training or project requirement. The track already produces documented, reviewed project work, so it covers both.

    Covers both
  • Graduates with a degree and nothing practical to show

You have the qualification but no projects, no portfolio and no interview practice. Six months produces all three.

    Builds the evidence
  • Career changers from non-IT backgrounds

You are competing against people with technical degrees, so the answer is depth and evidence rather than a short certificate.

    Depth over certificates
  • Students from Ludhiana business families

Hosiery, auto components, agricultural machinery and export houses increasingly need web, data and automation work in-house. Tell the counsellor and month five can be pointed straight at the family business.

    Local relevance
  • Students who did a short training earlier

You know a little about a lot and want to stop. This is the track that goes deep in one direction instead of wide in five.

    One direction
  • Working candidates who can only study on weekends

Weekend batches cover the same modules and the same two-project requirement, arranged over different weekly hours. The timeline stays six months.

    Weekend batch

What you actually need before day one

6 months · Classroom & online batches

  • A laptop or desktop — we help you set it up in the first session
  • A stable internet connection for the online batches
  • No. Month one is foundations. Experienced students are assessed in the first week and can join at the applied engineering stage, which gives them a longer live-project run.
  • Basic English reading — the tools and their documentation are in English
  • About 6-8 hours a week outside class for practice
  • Willingness to finish the lab task before the next class

Not sure which of these you are, or whether the timing works around what you already do? That is exactly what the call is for. Ask about 6 Months Training

Two months on a live brief

Not a simulated project. A real brief with a real deadline, run the way a delivery team runs: you take tickets, you estimate them, you open pull requests, and someone senior rejects the ones that are not good enough. By the end it is deployed, monitored and handed over — and that is the experience line on your internship letter.

Certification

Get certified in 6 Months Training

Finish the 6 Months Training programme at techcadd Ludhiana and you leave with more than a line on a CV — a verifiable certificate, and the project work that makes it mean something in an interview.

  • Course completion certificate

Issued in your name on completion of the 6 Months Training syllabus, with a reference number an employer can verify with us.

  • Project certificate

A separate certificate for the capstone you submit, naming the project so the work is attached to the credential.

  • Internship letter

Students who complete the live-project phase receive an internship letter covering the duration and the work delivered.

  • Portfolio you own

Every file, repository and deployed link stays yours — the part of the credential a reviewer can actually open.

techcadd has been training in Ludhiana since 2007. The certificate carries that record; the industrial training work you did carries the rest.

  • Framework specialist

Deep in one framework, which is what most job posts actually ask for.

Salary outlook

What industrial training pays, and where

Indicative ranges for the roles this course opens — what a fresher out of Ludhiana is offered, what the metro and remote markets pay for the same skills, and how that moves with two or three years of work behind you.

Indicative annual packages by role and market
RoleLudhiana & PunjabDelhi NCR & BengaluruRemote & freelance
Software developerEntry₹2.4–4.2 LPA₹4–8 LPA₹20k–45k / project
Backend developerEntry to mid₹3.6–6.5 LPA₹6.5–14 LPA₹35k–90k / project
Full-stack developerEntry to mid₹3.6–6.5 LPA₹6.5–14 LPA₹35k–90k / project
Framework specialistMid₹3.6–6.5 LPA₹6.5–14 LPA₹35k–90k / project

Ranges are indicative, drawn from what our own students report and from openings we see through the placement cell. Actual offers depend on your portfolio, the interview and the company — nobody can promise you a number, and we do not.

  • Software developer, Backend developer, Full-stack developer, Framework specialist and related positions, depending on which part of the syllabus you go deepest on.

  • The first jump usually comes at 18–24 months, once you have shipped work you can point to. Depth in one area moves it faster than breadth across many.

  • Yes, and a good number of our students do. Remote and contract work is the reason Ludhiana candidates now compete for the same briefs as metro ones — the portfolio travels, the address does not matter.

  • IT services, manufacturing and export units running automation, e-commerce and D2C brands, healthcare, education, and the agencies serving all of them. Punjab hiring is broader than it looks from a job board.

  • It helps with the practical half. The projects and tooling carry into an M.Tech, MCA or a specialisation abroad, and the portfolio is often what separates two applicants with the same marks.

Being straight with you

What 6 months will not do

It will not hand you a job.

  1. What it does give you

The skill, the projects, the documentation and the interview practice — and our team helps with placement assistance and referrals.

  2. What is still on you

Turning that into an offer depends on how you perform in the room. The mock interviews exist so that room is not the first time you face those questions.

Future scope

The road ahead after six months

Six months buys you the one thing a course cannot fake: two of those months are spent inside a delivery team, on a real brief, with your work reviewed by someone who can reject it. That is experience, and it is what the letter at the end describes.

  1. Year 0–1

    Developer, not trainee

You interview with a shipped product, a merged commit history and an internship letter that names your role. Candidates who can talk about a release cycle interview differently from candidates who can talk about a syllabus.

  2. Year 2–4

    Feature ownership

Trusted with a whole feature rather than a ticket: spec, build, release, and the bugs that follow. This is the stage where you stop being managed and start being briefed.

  3. Year 5+

    Lead, architect or specialise deep

Either you take responsibility for a team and its standards, or you go far enough into one domain that people route the hard problems to you. Both routes open from here; neither opens without shipped work behind you.

Frequently asked questions

Questions before you enrol

The 9 things people ask most often about the 6 Months Training course at techcadd Ludhiana.

  • It is our deepest classroom track. You cover a full technology stack, choose a specialisation, build two projects, and finish with portfolio documentation and structured interview preparation.

  • It is better if your goal is a job. Four months gets you one project and a portfolio. Six months adds a specialisation, a stronger second project and several dedicated weeks of interview preparation.

  • In most cases yes, because the track already produces documented, reviewed project work. Bring your college project guidelines to the counsellor in month one so deliverables are aligned from the start.

  • Yes. It is decided with your trainer in month five, based on where you performed strongest and which roles you want to target. It is a conversation, not an allotment.

  • Yes. Weekend batches run the same modules and the same two-project requirement. The timeline stays six months; the weekly hours are arranged differently.

  • No institute can guarantee placement, and we do not. What we guarantee is placement support — mock interviews, resume and portfolio work, placement assistance and interview referrals from our team.

  • No. Month one starts from fundamentals and environment setup, and career changers from non-IT backgrounds are a regular part of these batches.

  • The live project runs inside techcadd and stipend-eligible placements with partner companies are offered to students whose month-three review is strong. Everyone receives an internship letter that names the project and the role you held on it.

  • Placement support does not stop at month six. Mock interviews, profile reviews and referrals continue until you are hired, and you keep access to the doubt-support channel.
